We’re looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us expand our impact.

About the Role

As an SDR, you will work closely with the Sales Lead and our founders, playing a critical role in generating and qualifying leads that will drive the company’s growth. Your focus will be on identifying potential customers, engaging with them to understand their needs, and qualifying opportunities for the Sales Lead to close. What You'll Work On

  • Lead Qualification: Engage with inbound leads to qualify them based on fit, needs, and readiness to engage with DitchCarbon’s solutions.
  • Research & Targeting: Research companies and decision-makers in key industries to build targeted outreach campaigns that align with their sustainability goals.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule discovery calls and demos for the Sales Lead with qualified prospects, ensuring smooth hand-offs and detailed lead information.
  • Lead Generation: Proactively source new leads through a variety of channels including outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach, focusing on sustainability-focused businesses and organizations.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system (HubSpot), tracking all interactions with leads and customers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Lead and marketing team to provide feedback on outreach efforts, messaging, and lead quality, while continuously improving the lead generation process.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed about sustainability trends, carbon accounting standards, and ESG data frameworks to engage knowledgeably with prospects.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a sales development, business development, or lead generation role. Ideally experience in climate tech, sustainability, or a related field is a plus.
  • Sales Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage prospects via email, phone, and social channels.
  • Curiosity & Learning: Passion for sustainability and willingness to learn about carbon accounting, ESG data, and sustainability challenges.
  • Tech Experience: Experience using CRM tools like HubSpot, reply, notion, slack and google workspace
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with other team members to drive success.
  • Location: Based in Europe with flexibility to work remotely and travel to London as needed.
