**Banco Do Brasil: Carbon Emissions and Climate Commitments** Banco Do Brasil, a financial intermediation services provider headquartered in BR, has reported significant carbon emissions across Scopes 1, 2, and 3. For the reporting year 2024, the total reported emissions were approximately 18.33 trillion kg CO2e for Scope 1, 29.73 trillion kg CO2e for Scope 2 (location-based), and a substantial portion from Scope 3, including approximately 9.35 trillion kg CO2e from business travel, 10.06 trillion kg CO2e from employee commutes, and 20.97 billion kg CO2e from purchased goods and services. Upstream transportation and distribution contributed around 22.24 trillion kg CO2e. In 2023, total emissions were approximately 18.49 trillion kg CO2e for Scope 1 and 19.71 trillion kg CO2e for Scope 2 (location-based).
