Heppner, headquartered in France and operating in other land transportation services, reported its most recent emissions for 2025. In 2025, Heppner's total emissions were approximately 475.2 million kg CO2e, with the vast majority stemming from Scope 3 emissions at approximately 466.3 million kg CO2e. Upstream transportation and distribution accounted for approximately 114.1 million kg CO2e within its Scope 3 total. For 2024, total emissions were approximately 417.3 million kg CO2e, comprising Scope 3 emissions of about 408.9 million kg CO2e and Scope 1 and 2 emissions of approximately 11.9 million kg CO2e.

In 2022, Heppner reported total emissions of approximately 368.2 million kg CO2e. This included Scope 1 emissions of approximately 11.1 million kg CO2e (with mobile combustion at about 7.7 million kg CO2e and stationary combustion at approximately 2.3 million kg CO2e), Scope 2 emissions from purchased electricity at about 410,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions totalling approximately 42.7 million kg CO2e. Emissions data for 2021 showed Scope 1 emissions of approximately 12.6 million kg CO2e. Prior to that, Scope 1 emissions were around 12.4 million kg CO2e in 2020 and 12.1 million kg CO2e in 2019.

Heppner has made climate commitments, including a near-term target for Scope 2 reductions. Through building energy efficiency management, a savings plan, and a thermal renovation programme, Heppner allocated €2.5 million in 2023 for modernising lighting with connected LED solutions. This programme is slated for implementation in Germany, Spain, and Belgium from 2025. Heppner is also committed to a long-term net-zero target, with a commitment noted in 2022 for all scopes, aiming for net zero by 2050. The company was also a BAAA 1.5 member, indicating alignment with a 1.5°C pathway. It is important to note that much of the emissions data is self-reported by Heppner and is not cascaded from a parent organisation.
