Climate Commitments and Reduction Targets:

IFS has established science-based targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The company commits to reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030, using 2022 as the base year. This target is consistent with reductions needed to keep warming to 1.5°C.

Additionally, IFS aims to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, business travel, and employee commuting by 25% within the same timeframe (by 2030 from a 2022 base year).

IFS also has a target to reach carbon neutrality by 2025, which covers Scope 1, 2, and Scope 3 business travel emissions.
