IFS, a computer and related services company headquartered in Sweden, reported total emissions of approximately 36,274,000 kg CO2e in 2025. This included Scope 1 emissions of 444,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 market-based emissions of 33,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of 35,797,000 kg CO2e. Key contributors to Scope 3 included purchased goods and services (18,432,000 kg CO2e), business travel (10,889,000 kg CO2e), and employee commute (3,141,000 kg CO2e).

In 2024, IFS reported total emissions of approximately 31,681,000 kg CO2e, with Scope 1 at 700,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 market-based at 38,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at 30,942,000 kg CO2e. In 2023, total emissions were around 27,518,000 kg CO2e, comprising 354,000 kg CO2e for Scope 1, 93,000 kg CO2e for Scope 2 market-based, and 27,052,000 kg CO2e for Scope 3.

IFS has set several climate commitments. The company aims to achieve carbon neutrality for Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2025. Additionally, IFS commits to reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base year. They also aim to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, business travel, and employee commuting by 25% within the same timeframe. These targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as consistent with reductions required to keep warming to 1.5°C.
