In 2024, FrieslandCampina reported total global GHG emissions of approximately 17,620,000,000 kg CO2e. This comprised:
- Scope 1: Approximately 666,000,000 kg CO2e
- Scope 2: Approximately 323,000,000 kg CO2e (location-based)
- Scope 3: Approximately 16,753,000,000 kg CO2e, with purchased goods and services being the largest contributor at about 15,294,000,000 kg CO2e.
