As the only 3rd party verified specialist scope 3 tool, DitchCarbon takes the security of its customer data very seriously. We only pass external LLMs snippets of text without any further context.

A common example is emission category names we've found at the time of writing 297,979 different ways of writing the standard GHG scopes and categories of which there are less than 30.

We have trained a model which is now very adept at matching them up correctly so "SCOPE 3 Emissions from Investments" and "Emissioni Scope III - investments" become "scope_3/investments" regardless of language.

We are not feeding in your private supplier or investments data into a 3rd party LLM. Your sensitive business data never leaves our secure environment.
