Keltbray

Keltbray, a UK-based construction company, reported total carbon emissions of approximately 139,375 tonnes CO2e in 2022. This included Scope 1 emissions from mobile combustion of 9,686.7 tonnes CO2e and stationary combustion of 9,100.7 tonnes CO2e. In 2021, their Scope 1 emissions totalled approximately 16,598 tonnes CO2e, with 10,032 tonnes CO2e from mobile combustion and 6,566 tonnes CO2e from stationary combustion. For 2020, Keltbray's Scope 1 emissions were around 15,671 tonnes CO2e, composed of 10,068 tonnes CO2e from mobile combustion and 5,603 tonnes CO2e from stationary combustion. In 2019, Keltbray's total emissions were approximately 24,007 tonnes CO2e, which included Scope 1 emissions of 9,785 tonnes CO2e (9,693 tonnes CO2e from mobile combustion and 92 tonnes CO2e from stationary combustion), Scope 2 emissions of 433 tonnes CO2e from purchased electricity, and Scope 3 emissions from business travel of 3,228 tonnes CO2e.

Keltbray has outlined several climate commitments. They aim to reduce their Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions to near zero by the middle of this decade (between 2023 and 2025). Furthermore, Keltbray is committed to achieving a 30% reduction in their Scope 1 emissions and a 30% reduction in their Scope 2 emissions by 2030, both against a 2019 baseline. The organisation is a signatory of the Climate Pledge, which they joined on 1st September 2021.
