Nedap, a computer and related services company headquartered in NL, has published its carbon emissions data for recent years, alongside significant climate commitments.

For the most recent reporting year, 2024, Nedap reported total global emissions of approximately 181,845,000 kg CO2e. This figure is comprised of Scope 1 emissions totalling about 706,000 kg CO2e, with stationary combustion accounting for approximately 250,000 kg CO2e and mobile combustion for roughly 416,000 kg CO2e. Scope 2 emissions, calculated on a market-based approach, were approximately 51,000 kg CO2e, primarily from purchased electricity. Scope 3 emissions were substantial, amounting to approximately 180,093,000 kg CO2e. Nedap has a long-standing commitment to achieving net-zero Scope 1 and 2 (market-based) greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. Furthermore, the company has set Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) aligned commitments. These include a pledge to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 95.0% by 2030, using a 2020 base year. Nedap also commits to reducing its Scope 3 emissions from purchased goods and services and the use of sold products by 51.6% per EUR value added within the same timeframe.
