Total Scope 3 emissions for the same year were 165,777,000 kg CO2e, which included 9,708,000 kg CO2e from business travel, 19,594,000 kg CO2e from employee commute, 23,454,000 kg CO2e from waste generated in operations, and 113,022,000 kg CO2e from fuel and energy related activities.

In 2024, the company's Scope 1 emissions were 71,914,000 kg CO2e, with market-based Scope 2 emissions at 217,554,000 kg CO2e. Scope 3 emissions totalled 101,329,000 kg CO2e, including 8,466,000 kg CO2e from business travel, 16,789,000 kg CO2e from employee commute, and 76,074,000 kg CO2e from fuel and energy related activities.

For 2023, IHH Healthcare reported Scope 1 emissions of 81,236,000 kg CO2e and market-based Scope 2 emissions of 210,111,000 kg CO2e. Scope 3 emissions were 23,348,000 kg CO2e, comprising 7,249,000 kg CO2e from business travel and 16,099,000 kg CO2e from employee commute.

In 2022, IHH Healthcare disclosed Scope 1 emissions of 75,465,000 kg CO2e, including 4,310,000 kg CO2e from fugitive emissions, and Scope 2 emissions of 202,163,000 kg CO2e. The company did not disclose Scope 3 emissions for this year.

IHH Healthcare is committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 for all scopes. The company also targets a 30% reduction in Scope 1 emissions by 2030 from a 2020 baseline, and a 30% reduction in Scope 2 emissions by 2030 from a 2020 baseline.
