For the reporting year 2025, RCF's Scope 1 emissions were approximately 3,754,391,000 kg CO2e, with Scope 2 emissions at about 73,592,000 kg CO2e. In 2024, Scope 1 emissions stood at approximately 3,703,604,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 2 emissions were about 120,029,000 kg CO2e. Prior to that, for the 2023 reporting year, Scope 1 emissions were approximately 3,727,538,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 2 emissions were about 167,960,000 kg CO2e.

For earlier periods, RCF reported combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions. In 2015, these combined emissions were approximately 3,906,000,000 kg CO2e. In 2014, the reported combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions were approximately 3,240,000,000 kg CO2e, and in 2013, they were approximately 3,511,000,000 kg CO2e.

RCF's disclosures indicate that Scope 3 emissions data, specifically for purchased goods and services, is currently missing. The company has not publicly disclosed specific reduction targets or commitments through initiatives like the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) or the Climate Pledge. However, RCF does provide emission intensity metrics, including total Scope 1 and 2 emissions per unit of revenue adjusted for Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) and per tonne of physical output. For the 2025 reporting year, the intensity per rupee of turnover (PPP adjusted) was 4.091612e-06, and the intensity per tonne of output was 771.3567. For 2024, these figures were 4.706176e-06 per rupee of turnover (PPP adjusted) and 753.3057 per tonne of output. In 2023, the intensity per rupee of turnover (PPP adjusted) was 0.4159, and per tonne of output was 740.0.
