This figure includes Scope 1 emissions of approximately 7.45 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of approximately 2.13 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of approximately 4.65 billion kg CO2e. In 2023, total emissions were approximately 6.05 billion kg CO2e, comprising about 7.89 million kg CO2e from Scope 1, approximately 2.64 million kg CO2e from Scope 2, and approximately 6.05 billion kg CO2e from Scope 3.

Zumtobel has set ambitious climate commitments validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Near-term targets include reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 66% by fiscal year 2030, from a fiscal year 2020 base year. Additionally, Zumtobel is committed to reducing absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 42% by fiscal year 2030, from a fiscal year 2022 base year. Long-term targets aim for a 90% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by fiscal year 2050 from a fiscal year 2020 base year, and a 90% reduction in absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by fiscal year 2050 from a fiscal year 2022 base year. Tridonic, a part of Zumtobel Group AG, also aims to reduce GHG emissions by 50% by 2030 (from a 2015 base year) for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, as part of the klimaaktiv Pakt.
