Bechtle AG, a computer and related services company headquartered in Germany, has demonstrated a commitment to reducing its carbon footprint. In 2025, the company reported total emissions of approximately 2,127.2 million kg CO2e. This figure is composed of Scope 1 emissions totalling about 16.3 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions at approximately 3.0 million kg CO2e (market-based), and substantial Scope 3 emissions of around 2,091.4 million kg CO2e.

Bechtle has set ambitious climate targets, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2030, as outlined in their sustainability strategy. Specifically, they are working to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 60% each by 2030, with a corresponding 30% reduction target for Scope 3 emissions. Their data centres have also joined the Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact, aligning with the European Green Deal's net-zero by 2030 objective.
