In 2023, ICF International, headquartered in the US, reported total greenhouse gas emissions of approximately 9,000,000 kg CO2e. This total includes 763,000 kg CO2e from Scope 1 emissions, 21,000 kg CO2e from Scope 2 emissions, and 8,633,000 kg CO2e from Scope 3 emissions, which primarily stem from business travel and purchased goods and services. ICF has set ambitious climate commitments, aiming to reduce its absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 23% by 2025, using 2018 as the base year.
