The company's total emissions for that year were approximately 3.59 billion kg CO2e. This included around 197 million kg CO2e from Scope 1, approximately 8.12 million kg CO2e from Scope 2, and about 3.43 billion kg CO2e from Scope 3.
Acciona has set ambitious climate commitments. It aims for net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2050, as recognised by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
