For 2022, Scope 1 emissions were around 253.7 kg CO2e, and Scope 2 (location-based) emissions were approximately 1,172.0 kg CO2e.

China Mengniu Dairy has set ambitious climate targets. The company aims for carbon neutrality across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions by 2050. Additionally, the company has near-term targets to reduce energy consumption and increase the proportion of renewable energy to effectively reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, aligning with the 1.5°C temperature control target of the Paris Climate Agreement.
