For 2024, Scope 1 emissions were approximately 225 million kg CO2e, and Scope 2 emissions stood at approximately 681 million kg CO2e. Scope 3 emissions were considerably higher, totalling approximately 72.76 billion kg CO2e. Key contributors to Scope 3 emissions in 2024 included the use of sold products (approximately 65.06 billion kg CO2e) and purchased goods and services (approximately 2.47 billion kg CO2e).

In 2023, LG Electronics Inc. reported a total of approximately 69.94 billion kg CO2e in emissions. This comprised Scope 1 emissions of approximately 209 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of approximately 665 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of approximately 69.16 billion kg CO2e.
