DitchCarbon launches on AWS Marketplace

DitchCarbon is now available on the AWS Marketplace. Teams that already buy software through AWS can add supplier emissions data to an account and a contract they already run.

DitchCarbon provides verified emissions data for over 2 million organisations, so procurement, sustainability and finance teams can measure and act on supply chain and portfolio emissions from one source.

Supplier data without the survey round

You get emissions on the organisations you buy from or invest in: company level figures across the board, and product level detail where a life cycle assessment exists. Nobody has to fill in a questionnaire for it. Procurement, sustainability and finance teams can:

• Replace manual collection and spreadsheets with automated data feeds
• Report against the GHG Protocol Scope 3 Standard from data with its sources attached
• Compare suppliers on consistent benchmarks and emissions intensity

Every figure carries its source and change history, which is what gets you to numbers you can defend within 2 weeks. The DitchCarbon Portal calculator is verified to ISO 14064-3, limited assurance, by UL Solutions, renewed annually, which is what makes the output audit-ready, and straightforward for a third-party auditor to follow. DitchCarbon is the first company to earn UL Solutions' Sustainability Information Calculator Verification, June 2025. The report is on the trust centre.

Supplier engagement for SBTi and supply chain targets

DitchCarbon also runs the outreach, for teams working towards Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validation or their own supply chain commitments. From one place you can:

• Run outreach at scale, prepopulated with the data we already hold on each organisation
• See which suppliers have set, validated or committed to SBTi aligned targets
• Track progress across the supply base over time, by category or by counterparty

Prepopulated requests get better responses than a cold survey, because the supplier is checking figures rather than starting from an empty form. That moves supplier climate action off one-off questionnaires and onto something you can track.
