TD SYNNEX, a US-based company in the computer and related services sector (72), has demonstrated a commitment to reducing its carbon footprint.

For the reporting year 2024, TD SYNNEX reported total global emissions of approximately 22.8 billion kilograms of CO2e. This figure is comprised of Scope 1 emissions totalling approximately 10.8 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions (market-based) of approximately 20.6 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of approximately 17.7 billion kg CO2e.

The company has set ambitious climate targets. TD SYNNEX aims to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its global operations by 2045. Additionally, it has committed to reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 42% by FY2030, using FY2022 as a base year. Furthermore, TD SYNNEX is working towards a long-term goal of reducing absolute Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions by 90% by FY2045, again from a FY2022 baseline. These targets have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). As part of its near-term strategy, the company aims for 90% of its suppliers by spend (covering purchased goods and services) to have science-based targets by FY2028, and 58% of its customers by revenue (covering use of sold products) to have science-based targets by the same year.
