Federchimica

Federchimica, an organisation in the "Other business services (74)" sector based in Italy, has reported the following carbon emissions data.

In 2022, Federchimica reported Scope 1 emissions of approximately 11.6 billion kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions of approximately 4.1 billion kg CO2e, totalling approximately 15.7 billion kg CO2e for these scopes.

For 2021, Scope 1 emissions were approximately 13,100 kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions were approximately 5,000 kg CO2e, giving a combined total of about 18,100 kg CO2e.

In 2020, Scope 1 emissions stood at approximately 10,600 kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions at approximately 6,100 kg CO2e, for a total of around 16,700 kg CO2e.

More comprehensive data is available for 2016, with Scope 1 emissions reported at approximately 116 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions at about 3.5 billion kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions at approximately 4.3 billion kg CO2e. This resulted in a total of roughly 7.9 billion kg CO2e for 2016.

Earlier reports show Scope 1 emissions in 2014 at approximately 58,000 kg CO2e, with Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions not reported or zero. In 2013, Scope 1 emissions were around 67,000 kg CO2e, with Scope 2 and Scope 3 not reported or zero. For 2012, Scope 1 emissions were approximately 205,000 kg CO2e, with Scope 2 and Scope 3 not reported or zero.

Federchimica also reported substantial emissions in 1990, with Scope 1 emissions at approximately 32.1 billion kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions at about 15.5 billion kg CO2e.

Federchimica does not currently have publicly stated reduction targets or commitments through initiatives like the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) or the Climate Pledge.
