HKFoods Oyj, headquartered in Finland and operating within the food products industry, reported a total of approximately 1.5 billion kg CO2e in emissions for 2024. This figure comprises Scope 1 emissions totalling approximately 15.6 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of approximately 13.5 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions amounting to approximately 1.5 billion kg CO2e. Within Scope 3, purchased goods and services represent the largest contributor, at approximately 1.3 billion kg CO2e.

HKFoods has established several climate commitments. Notably, the company aims for carbon neutrality in its own industrial production by the end of 2025. They are also committed to reducing their absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base year. Historical data shows Scope 1 and 2 emissions of approximately 130 million kg CO2e in 2017, 150 million kg CO2e in 2016, and 210 million kg CO2e in 2015. In 2014, Scope 1 emissions were approximately 67 million kg CO2e, and Scope 2 emissions were around 172 million kg CO2e.
