The company has set ambitious interim targets, aiming for a 20% reduction in emissions by 2025 and a 50% reduction by 2030, both from a 2018 baseline. These targets encompass Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
In terms of recent emissions data, for the year 2025, Nestlé reported a total of approximately 69.04 billion kg CO2e. This figure is broken down into Scope 1 emissions of about 2.82 billion kg CO2e, Scope 2 market-based emissions of approximately 220 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions totalling around 66.01 billion kg CO2e.
