Scope 3 emissions amounted to about 1855.9 tonnes CO2e, including 1467.39 tonnes CO2e from purchased goods and services, 96.8 tonnes CO2e from employee commuting, 12.51 tonnes CO2e from waste generated in operations, 9.89 tonnes CO2e from business travel, and 1.47 tonnes CO2e from upstream transportation and distribution.
Moneyme has committed to a Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) approved target to reduce its Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030, using a 2022 base year. The company also states a commitment to measure and reduce its Scope 3 emissions. This near-term target for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions is consistent with reductions required to limit global warming to 1.5°C, as determined by the SBTi for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
