Qatar Airways, a leading air transport services provider headquartered in QA, has reported its carbon emissions for the years 2015 through 2021. In 2021, the airline's Scope 1 and 2 emissions totalled approximately 14,333 million kg CO2e, a decrease from previous years. Scope 1 emissions for 2021 were about 14,105 million kg CO2e, with Scope 2 emissions at approximately 228 million kg CO2e. For comparison, in 2020, total Scope 1 and 2 emissions were around 23,152 million kg CO2e, and in 2019, they stood at approximately 22,388 million kg CO2e.
