Sungrow

Sungrow, a China-headquartered company in the Electricity by solar thermal industry, reported its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions for 2025 as approximately 2.8 million kg CO2e. This represents a decrease from approximately 3.1 million kg CO2e in 2024 and approximately 3.29 million kg CO2e in 2023.

For 2022, Sungrow's Scope 1 emissions were approximately 3.46 million kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions were approximately 39.8 million kg CO2e. In 2021, its Scope 1 emissions were around 2.32 million kg CO2e, and Scope 2 emissions were approximately 35.91 million kg CO2e, totalling approximately 38.23 million kg CO2e for Scope 1 and 2. In 2020, Sungrow's Scope 1 emissions were about 1.14 million kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions were approximately 27.59 million kg CO2e, resulting in a combined Scope 1 and 2 total of approximately 28.72 million kg CO2e. Emissions data for 2019 was not disclosed.

Sungrow has committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions. Between 2022 and 2023, the company lowered its combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions by approximately 1,502,000 kg CO2e, achieving a 3.5% reduction. The company also aims to reduce its energy consumption per unit of product production by at least 10% by 2025, compared to 2020 levels.
