What is in the Scope 3 supplier emissions dataset?

Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions at organisation level, with the reporting year, the basis of each figure and the source it came from. Where an organisation has disclosed its own emissions, the record uses the disclosed figure. Where it has not, the record carries a calculated estimate and is labelled as one. Both are matched to your suppliers and portfolio companies through entity resolution against DUNS, LEI and ISIN identifiers, so a figure lands against the right legal entity before you use it.

Is the data verified, and what does verified mean here?

Two different things carry verification here, and the dataset keeps them apart. Each record shows whether the organisation's own disclosure was assured by a third party, and at what level. Separately, the DitchCarbon calculator that produces the estimated figures is verified to ISO 14064-3 at limited assurance by UL Solutions, renewed annually. Both are visible per record, and the reports are on the trust centre.

What does your auditor see?

Every figure carries its source and change history, so any number in a report can be traced back to the disclosure or the calculation behind it, with the version that was current when you pulled it. You export the evidence rather than a static PDF. Audit-ready here means the evidence travels with the number, and whether it satisfies your auditor is their call to make.

DitchCarbon provides verified emissions data for over 2 million organisations, so procurement, sustainability and finance teams can measure and act on supply chain and portfolio emissions from one source.
