For 2025, MAHLE reported total emissions of approximately 28.5 billion kg CO2e, comprising about 171 million kg CO2e from Scope 1, approximately 594 million kg CO2e from Scope 2, and around 27.76 billion kg CO2e from Scope 3. This is a reduction from 2024, when total emissions were approximately 30.7 billion kg CO2e, with Scope 1 at about 174 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 at approximately 601 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at around 29.96 billion kg CO2e. MAHLE is committed to reducing its environmental impact and has established several key reduction initiatives. The company aims to achieve carbon neutrality for its production by 2040.
