Air France-KLM, an air transport services company headquartered in France, reported its latest emissions data for 2025. In that year, the company's Scope 1 emissions were approximately 26.125 billion kg CO2e, with mobile combustion contributing 35 million kg CO2e and stationary combustion contributing 26.09 billion kg CO2e. Scope 2 emissions (market-based) were 10 million kg CO2e, while location-based Scope 2 emissions were 20 million kg CO2e. Scope 3 emissions for 2025 totalled about 10.618 billion kg CO2e, including investments at 694 million kg CO2e, capital goods at 1.014 billion kg CO2e, business travel at 87 million kg CO2e, employee commute at 84 million kg CO2e, purchased goods and services at 1.658 billion kg CO2e, waste generated in operations at 17 million kg CO2e, and fuel and energy-related activities at 6.674 billion kg CO2e.

The company aims for a 30% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions intensity by 2030 relative to the 2019 baseline (g CO2e/RTK). Long-term targets include a 65% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 3 total emissions by 2050 relative to 2019. These targets are consistent with reductions required to limit global warming in line with the Paris Agreement.
