Crown Oil, a UK-based Gas/Diesel Oil company, reported total greenhouse gas emissions of approximately 5,695,000 kg CO2e in 2024. This includes Scope 1 emissions of about 293,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of about 22,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of approximately 5,380,000 kg CO2e. Crown Oil has also achieved certification as carbon neutral to ISO 14068 across the Crown Group, making them the first in the UK fuel sector to do so. They report a 95.8% reduction in Scope 1 emissions and a 96.1% reduction in Scope 2 emissions, partly attributed to all group delivery vehicles running on Crown HVO fuel, which reduces Scope 1 transport emissions by up to 90% since their 2020/21 baseline.
