Zen Internet, a UK-based post and telecommunication services provider, reported total global greenhouse gas emissions of approximately 39.19 million kg CO2e in 2021. This included Scope 1 emissions of around 487,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions (location-based) of about 1.97 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of roughly 36.72 million kg CO2e. In 2020, their total emissions were approximately 515,980 kg CO2e, comprising Scope 1 emissions of about 373,020 kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions (location-based) of approximately 1.41 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of around 2.37 million kg CO2e.

Zen Internet has set ambitious Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) aligned climate commitments. The company aims to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by FY2040, using FY2021 as a base year.

Near-Term Targets (FY2021 base year):

• Scope 1 and 2 GHG Emissions: Reduce absolute emissions by 50% by FY2028.
• Scope 3 GHG Emissions: Reduce absolute emissions by 50% by FY2030.

Long-Term Targets (FY2021 base year):

• Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG Emissions: Reduce absolute emissions by 90% by 2040.
