When an organisation discloses its own Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 figures, DitchCarbon uses those, primary data, rather than a secondary industry average, and the result flows into your Category 1 and Category 2 totals. Where nothing is disclosed we fall back to an estimate and label it as one.
