How does a supplier's CCF feed Scope 3 Category 1?

The supplier's reported emissions, divided by its revenue, give a supplier-specific emission factor. Applied to your spend with that supplier, it produces a Category 1 line calculated from primary emissions data under the GHG Protocol's definition, because the factor came from that organisation rather than a sector average. The input is still spend; the factor is what changed.
