Ask for the CCF first. Many suppliers have already published one, and it can be allocated to your spend without any new work on their side. Ask for PCFs or SCFs on the specific products and services that carry most of your embodied emissions, where the unit-level detail changes a decision, because both cost the supplier real effort to produce.
