What is a corporate carbon footprint (CCF)?

A corporate carbon footprint is the total greenhouse gas emissions of an organisation over a reporting year, usually split into Scope 1, 2 and 3 under the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard or ISO 14064-1. It is expressed in tonnes of CO2e and describes the company as a whole, not any single product.
