Action for Children's reported carbon emissions

In 2025, Action for Children reported total carbon emissions of approximately 2,362,400 kg CO2e, with Scope 1 and 2 emissions accounting for about 1,689,700 kg CO2e. The organisation is committed to achieving Net Zero carbon emissions by 2050, aligning with the UK Government's target. To support this goal, they have developed a Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi)-aligned pathway aimed at reducing emissions in line with a 1.5°C trajectory. In FY24/25, Action for Children expanded its reporting to include Scope 3 emissions categories, which now represent about 50% of their total carbon footprint.
