Ambea, a health and social work services provider based in Sweden, reported total carbon emissions of approximately 59,108,000 kg CO2e in 2025. This included about 1,440,000 kg CO2e from Scope 1 emissions, 7,847,000 kg CO2e from Scope 2 (market-based), and 49,328,000 kg CO2e from Scope 3 emissions.

In 2024, Ambea's total emissions were approximately 62,349,000 kg CO2e. This comprised around 2,224,000 kg CO2e from Scope 1, 8,679,000 kg CO2e from Scope 2 (market-based), and 51,447,000 kg CO2e from Scope 3.

Ambea has set near-term Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitments to reduce its environmental impact. By 2034, from a 2024 base year, the company aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 58.8%. Additionally, Ambea commits to reducing Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, capital goods, business travel, and employee commuting by 63.8% per million SEK value added within the same timeframe. These Scope 1 and 2 targets are consistent with reductions required to keep warming to 1.5°C.
