Amplifon

Amplifon, headquartered in Italy and operating within the retail trade services sector, reported a total of approximately 125.3 million kg CO2e emissions for the year 2025. This figure encompasses Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions. In 2024, total emissions were approximately 146.2 million kg CO2e, and in 2023, they stood at roughly 150.4 million kg CO2e. Scope 3 emissions represent the largest portion of Amplifon's footprint, driven primarily by purchased goods and services.

Amplifon has established significant climate commitments. It aims to reduce its Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 42.0% by 2030, using 2023 as a base year. Additionally, the company commits to a 25.0% reduction in absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions from key categories including purchased goods and services, capital goods, fuel and energy-related activities, upstream transportation and distribution, employee commuting, upstream leased assets, use of sold products, and franchises within the same timeframe. Furthermore, Amplifon has pledged that by 2030, 44.36% of its suppliers by emissions, covering purchased goods and services, will have their own science-based targets.

Previously, Amplifon had targets to reduce its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions to near zero by 2025. The company's emissions data for 2022 totalled approximately 127.8 million kg CO2e, with Scope 3 emissions being the most substantial contributor. Prior to that, in 2021, total emissions were around 124 million kg CO2e, and in 2020, approximately 12 million kg CO2e, although for these earlier years, some Scope 3 categories like purchased goods and services and upstream transportation and distribution were not fully reported.
