Anthesis

Anthesis, a research and development services company headquartered in the UK, reported total global greenhouse gas emissions of approximately 1,350,430 kg CO2e in 2024. This figure includes 2,150 kg CO2e from Scope 1, 2,920 kg CO2e from Scope 2 (market-based), and 1,345,370 kg CO2e from Scope 3. Notably, Scope 3 emissions in 2024 were primarily driven by purchased goods and services (871,650 kg CO2e), employee commute (247,240 kg CO2e), and business travel (99,360 kg CO2e). In the preceding year, 2023, Anthesis's total global emissions were approximately 1,242,740 kg CO2e, comprising 9,760 kg CO2e from Scope 1, 6,830 kg CO2e from Scope 2 (market-based), and 1,226,150 kg CO2e from Scope 3.

Anthesis has established ambitious climate commitments, with its Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) targets cascaded from its parent company, Anthesis Consulting Group Limited. The company commits to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2040 from a 2021 base year.
