Baltic Classifieds is committed to a net-zero target by 2050, aiming to reduce absolute emissions across all scopes by at least 90% from a 2022 base year and neutralise any residual emissions. The company also has a near-term Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitment to reduce Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030, from a 2022 base year, and to measure and reduce its Scope 3 emissions. These targets are consistent with reductions required to keep warming to 1.5°C. The company states it is on track for its near-term targets.
