Carbon Trust

Carbon Trust's 2024 emissions totalled approximately 2,585,000 kg CO2e. This included approximately 13,000 kg CO2e from Scope 2 emissions and approximately 2,572,000 kg CO2e from Scope 3 emissions. There were no reported Scope 1 emissions for 2024. For 2023, total emissions were approximately 4,493,000 kg CO2e, comprising approximately 41,000 kg CO2e from Scope 1, approximately 34,000 kg CO2e from Scope 2, and approximately 4,418,000 kg CO2e from Scope 3.

Carbon Trust is committed to ambitious climate targets. The company aims to achieve carbon neutrality for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025. Additionally, Carbon Trust has Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved targets, as a Small or Medium Enterprise (SME). These targets include a near-term commitment to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2021 base year, and to measure and reduce Scope 3 emissions. Long-term, Carbon Trust commits to a 90% reduction in Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions by 2050 from a 2018 base year, in line with reaching net-zero by 2050.
