Carbon Trust

For 2023, the total emissions were higher at approximately 4.49 million kg CO2e, with Scope 1 emissions at around 41,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 at approximately 34,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at about 4.42 million kg CO2e.

The Carbon Trust has committed to ambitious climate goals. They aim for carbon neutrality for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025. The organisation has Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved targets, committing to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 50% by 2030 from a 2018 base year. Furthermore, The Carbon Trust is committed to reaching net-zero by 2050, which includes a 90% reduction in Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions by 2050 from a 2018 base year. They also commit to measure and reduce their Scope 3 emissions.
