For 2023, the company's total emissions were approximately 2.2 billion kg CO2e, with Scope 1 emissions at about 10.5 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 at approximately 9.5 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at about 2.18 billion kg CO2e. This represents a significant decrease in overall emissions compared to 2022, which saw total emissions of approximately 2.6 billion kg CO2e.

Century Communities is committed to reducing its environmental impact, with Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) approved targets. The company aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by financial year 2030, from a 2023 base year. Similarly, Century Communities commits to reducing absolute Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by financial year 2030, also from a 2023 base year. These near-term targets are consistent with reductions required to keep global warming to 1.5°C.
