In 2023, Cpl Aromas reported total carbon emissions of approximately 110,000,000 kg CO2e, comprising 113,000 kg CO2e from Scope 1, 1,214,000 kg CO2e from Scope 2, and 108,436,000 kg CO2e from Scope 3 emissions. Cpl Aromas has set ambitious climate commitments, aiming for carbon neutrality in its direct operations by 2030. This includes a target to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by at least 90% and to offset any remaining emissions in line with the goal of limiting global temperature rise to 1.5°C. Additionally, the company has committed to reducing absolute Scope 3 emissions by 25% by 2030.
