Crown Holdings, a US-based aluminium and aluminium products company, reported a total of approximately 10.25 billion kg CO2e in Scope 3 emissions for 2025, alongside approximately 579 million kg CO2e in Scope 1 and 387 million kg CO2e in Scope 2 emissions. The total emissions for 2025 were approximately 11.22 billion kg CO2e.

For 2024, the company's total emissions were approximately 11.62 billion kg CO2e, comprising about 563 million kg CO2e in Scope 1, 463 million kg CO2e in Scope 2, and 10.59 billion kg CO2e in Scope 3.

In 2022, Crown Holdings's Scope 1 emissions were approximately 613 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions were around 566 million kg CO2e (market-based), and Scope 3 emissions were approximately 11.53 billion kg CO2e. The total emissions for 2022 were approximately 1.18 billion kg CO2e for Scope 1 and 2 combined.

The company has established significant climate commitments. Crown Holdings aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 50% by 2030, using 2019 as a baseline year, aligning with a 1.5-degree Celsius target. They also commit to reducing absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 16% by 2030 from the same 2019 baseline. Furthermore, Crown Holdings has set targets to source 75% renewable electricity by 2030 and achieve 100% renewable electricity by 2040, in line with their Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) goals. The company is also committed to reaching net-zero GHG emissions across its value chain by 2050.
