Further specific targets include a 10% reduction in service weight per available seat mile by 2030 for its On-Board Services team, compared to a 2022 base year. Delta also has an intention to set science-based targets to achieve net-zero GHG emissions by 2050. Another long-term objective is to reduce net aviation CO2 emissions by 50% by 2050, relative to 2005 levels, covering both Scope 1 and Scope 2.
