Elydan, headquartered in France and operating in the Polystyrene Foam Product Manufacturing industry, reported its total greenhouse gas emissions for 2021 as approximately 341.4 million kg CO2e. This figure includes Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.

In 2021, Elydan's Scope 1 emissions, which are direct emissions from sources owned or controlled by the company, were approximately 390,000 kg CO2e. Scope 2 emissions, stemming from the generation of purchased energy, were approximately 1 million kg CO2e. The largest portion of their emissions came from Scope 3, or indirect emissions from their value chain, totalling approximately 340 million kg CO2e. Key contributors to Scope 3 emissions included purchased goods and services at approximately 102 million kg CO2e, capital goods at approximately 3.4 million kg CO2e, and upstream transportation and distribution at approximately 10.2 million kg CO2e.

Elydan has not publicly disclosed any specific greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets, including SBTi-validated targets, nor has it signed The Climate Pledge.
