In 2024, the company's total emissions were approximately 66.6 billion kg CO2e, comprising about 51.9 billion kg CO2e of Scope 1 emissions, 1.7 billion kg CO2e of Scope 2 emissions, and 13.1 billion kg CO2e of Scope 3 emissions. This follows a total of approximately 65.9 billion kg CO2e in 2023, with Scope 1 at about 52.2 billion kg CO2e, Scope 2 at 1.6 billion kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at 12.1 billion kg CO2e. In 2022, total emissions stood at roughly 65.7 billion kg CO2e, including 52 billion kg CO2e for Scope 1, 1.7 billion kg CO2e for Scope 2, and 12 billion kg CO2e for Scope 3. For 2021, Scope 1 emissions were approximately 50.2 billion kg CO2e, and Scope 2 emissions were around 1.9 billion kg CO2e. In 2020, total emissions were approximately 50.6 billion kg CO2e, with Scope 1 at about 48.3 billion kg CO2e and Scope 2 at 2.3 billion kg CO2e. Emissions in 2019 totalled approximately 50.9 billion kg CO2e, consisting of 48.4 billion kg CO2e for Scope 1 and 2.5 billion kg CO2e for Scope 2. In 2018, Scope 1 emissions were approximately 47.3 billion kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions were 2.7 billion kg CO2e. The company also reported Scope 1 emissions of approximately 23.865 billion kg CO2e for 2017. En Plus Group MKPAO has established a long-term commitment to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050. This commitment encompasses all scopes of emissions. Additionally, the company aims for a 35% reduction in GHG emissions by 2035, using 2018 as a baseline. A further target is to reduce emissions by at least 35% by 2030, also benchmarked against 2018 levels. The company has unveiled a detailed roadmap to achieve carbon neutrality.
