Scope 3 emissions were around 172,000 kg CO2e, attributed to business travel, though certain Scope 3 categories like purchased goods and services were not reported.

The company has set ambitious Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitments. Ground Control Ltd aims to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by FY2038. Near-term targets include a 90% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by FY2030, from a FY2021 base year, and a 42% reduction in absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions within the same timeframe. Long-term, Ground Control Ltd is committed to reducing absolute Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions by 90% by FY2038, also from a FY2021 base year. These targets are consistent with keeping global warming to 1.5°C. Ground Control Ltd also became a signatory to the Amazon Climate Pledge in 2021.
