Climate Commitments and Reduction Targets: Groupe M6 has established science-based targets for emissions reduction. The company commits to reducing absolute Scope 1 GHG emissions by 42.0% by 2030, using 2023 as the base year. Similarly, absolute Scope 2 GHG emissions are targeted for a 42.0% reduction by 2030 from the 2023 baseline. Furthermore, Groupe M6 aims to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 25.0% by 2030, with a base year of 2023. These Scope 3 reductions will focus on categories including purchased goods and services, capital goods, fuel- and energy-related activities, upstream transportation and distribution, waste generated in operations, business travel, employee commuting, and franchises. The company also commits that 31.04% of its suppliers, by emissions covering purchased goods and services, will have science-based targets by 2030.
