Hulamin

For 2022, Hulamin's Scope 1 emissions were approximately 249.3 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions were about 112.0 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions were approximately 3.67 billion kg CO2e. In 2021, Scope 1 emissions were around 109.0 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions were about 262.2 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions were approximately 15,200 kg CO2e. Hulamin has set Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved near-term targets. The company commits to reducing absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 30% by 2030 from a 2018 base year. Additionally, Hulamin commits to reducing Scope 3 GHG emissions by 24% per tonne of aluminium produced by 2030 from a 2018 base year. These targets are classified as consistent with reductions required to keep warming to "Well-below 2°C".
