IMDEX, an AU-based Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant Wholesaler, reported its global Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions for 2025 as approximately 2,831,000 kg CO2e (2,831 tonnes CO2e). This total comprised approximately 2,006,000 kg CO2e (2,006 tonnes CO2e) from Scope 1 emissions, which included mobile combustion (1,788,000 kg CO2e), stationary combustion (123,000 kg CO2e), and fugitive emissions (31,000 kg CO2e). Scope 2 emissions, primarily from purchased electricity, were approximately 790,000 kg CO2e (790 tonnes CO2e) on a market-based approach and 825,000 kg CO2e (825 tonnes CO2e) on a location-based approach.

In 2024, IMDEX's global Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions (location-based) were approximately 2,157,000 kg CO2e (2,157 tonnes CO2e). This included Scope 1 emissions of about 1,256,000 kg CO2e (1,256 tonnes CO2e), with mobile combustion at 1,144,000 kg CO2e, stationary combustion at 112,000 kg CO2e, and fugitive emissions at 84,000 kg CO2e. Scope 2 emissions from purchased electricity were approximately 901,000 kg CO2e (901 tonnes CO2e).

For 2023, IMDEX reported Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions (total) of approximately 2,333,000 kg CO2e (2,333 tonnes CO2e), with Scope 1 mobile combustion at 24,000 kg CO2e and Scope 2 purchased electricity at 890,000 kg CO2e. In 2022, their global Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions (total) were about 2,053,000 kg CO2e (2,053 tonnes CO2e), consisting of Scope 1 mobile combustion (119,000 kg CO2e) and stationary combustion (72,000 kg CO2e), and Scope 2 purchased electricity (521,000 kg CO2e).

IMDEX is committed to enhancing the transparency and accessibility of information related to its environmental impacts. The company has long-term net-zero classifications for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, with a timeframe extending from 2023 to 2050 and a target year of 2024 for these commitments. The organisation has not yet disclosed Scope 3 emissions data.
