Inwido, a construction work company based in Sweden, is actively working to reduce its carbon emissions. In 2025, Inwido's Scope 1 emissions were 4,794,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions were 4,995,000 kg CO2e (market-based), and Scope 3 emissions were 364,008,000 kg CO2e. This followed 2024 emissions of 5,106,000 kg CO2e for Scope 1, 8,598,000 kg CO2e for Scope 2 (market-based), and 410,105,000 kg CO2e for Scope 3.

Inwido has set ambitious climate commitments validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The company commits to achieving net-zero GHG emissions across its entire value chain by 2050.

Near-term, Inwido aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030, using a 2022 base year. Simultaneously, it targets a 25% reduction in absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions within the same timeframe. For the long-term, Inwido commits to a 90% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 2050 from a 2022 base year, alongside a 90% reduction in absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 2050. These targets are consistent with keeping global warming to 1.5°C.
